Proposed redevelopment of derelict villa complex on Edinburgh’s southside and conversion of two adjacent villas, into modern flats. The site is in a sensitive conservation area and redevelopment was contentious with local heritage groups, despite the heavily compromised remaining original fabric of the unlisted buildings in a poor 1970s hotel conversion.

After a long sustained period of consultation, planning permission was finally granted in 2005. Conversion of the two standalone villas is now complete.
