Design and construction of catering and teaching facilities for a remote island fishing community. The work was undertaken in conjunction with friends at a local development charity, and the assistance of the town’s council and shipping merchants.

The project required maximum care and efficient planning as construction materials had to be brought in from the mainland of Chile. The extremes of climate necessitated highly robust weather proofing.
